การทดลอง คําถาม พื้นที่ และ เวลา

ในระหว่างปี 1968 ถึงปี 1971 ศิลปินหญิงจากเมืองลินซ์ ประเทศออสเตรีย (Linz, Austria) วาลี เอ็กซ์พอร์ท (Valie Export) ได้ เสนอผลงานการแสดงศิลปะสด (Performance Art) ชื่อ Tapp und Tast Kino หรือในชื่อภาษาอังกฤษว่า Tap and Touch Cinema โดยศิลปินได้สร้างโรงภาพยนต์ขนาดเล็กขึ้นระหว่างร่างกายท่อนบนของศิลปินที่เปลือยเปล่า โดยด้านหน้ามีช่องสอง ช่องให้มือของผู้ชมสามารถสอดเข้าไปสัมผัสได้ จากนั้นศิลปินได้เดินไปตามท้องถนนโดยไม่ได้ขออนุญาติกรมการเมืองแต่ อย่างใด และตะโกนร้องชักชวนให้ผู้คนมาเข้าร่วมชมภาพยนต์ด้วยการสัมผัสและตัดต่อภาพด้วยความคิดของผู้ชมเอง แท็ป (Tap) คือเสียงทีเกิดจากการตัดแผ่นฟิลม์ ทัช (Touch) คือการสัมผัส โรงภาพยนต์ที่เกิดจากการตัดต่อ และการสัมผัส สมอง ของผู้ชมคือฉาก หรือ จอแสดงภาพ (Screen) เป็นที่แน่นอนว่าผลงานชิ้นนี้ได้สร้างกระแสความกลืนไม่เข้าคายไม่ออกให้กับ วงการศิลปะ การตั้งคําถามในโลกของภาพยนต์ทดลอง รวมถึงตัวศิลปินที่เสนอการวิพากษ์ วิจารณ์ต่อเรื่องของสิทธิสตรีผ่าน กระบวนการของศิลปะเชิงแนวคิด (Conceptual Art) ซึ่งศิลปินพยายามจะวางรูปกายไว้ให้เป็นศูนย์กลางของคําถามและเปิด ปลายของคําตอบอย่างไม่มีจุดจบ ด้วยการเชื่อมต่อของสัมผัสการรับรู้ สู่การสร้างมโนภาพ การจําได้หมายรู้ผ่านประสบการณ์ ต่างๆ ทั้งในอดีต และ ณ ขณะ การสมมุติและการคาดคะเน การวางกฎระเบียบและการควบคุมของสังคม ซึ่งทั้งหมดถูกจัดลง บนฉากการฉายของสมองผู้ชม จากผลงานของศิลปินทําให้เกิดการตั้งคําถามขึ้นว่า ภาพยนต์ที่จริงแล้วน่าจะคืออะไร คือสิ่งที่ เราได้เห็นหรือคือสิ่งที่เราได้กําลังขบคิด

การตั้งคําถามคือจุดเริ่มต้นของการทดลอง (Experimental) โครงสร้างของทักษะและเทคนิควิทยาการ ในที่นี้ขอเสนอเครื่องมือที่เรียกว่า วีดีโอ (Video) กระบวนการทางสุนทรียศาสตร์ (Arts)

ทั้งหมดข้างต้นนี้ หากทําการทดลองจัดเรียงขึ้นมาด้วยโครงสร้างการผลิตความคิดสร้างสรรค์ด้วยการเชื่อมต่อ ประเด็นถก หรือ เนื้อหาที่ต้องการ การวิพากษ์ วิจารณ์ (Contents), เป้าหมาย หรือ เจตจํานงค์ของการวิพากษ์ วิจารณ์ (Subjects) และ การนํา เสนอ กระบวนการผลิต หรือ การวิพากษ์ วิจารณ์ (Forms) เข้าไว้ด้วยกันอย่างกลมกลืน คําว่า Experimental Video Arts จึง น่าจะถูกเรียบเรียงในลักษณะความหมายอย่างนี้ว่า การนําเสนอประเด็นการวิพากษ์ วิจารณ์ ผ่านกระบวนการเชิง สุนทรียศาสตร์ ด้วยเทคนิคภาพเคลื่อนไหว หรือที่เราเรียกกันสั้นๆว่า วีดีโอศิลปะเชิงทดลอง โดยในเบื้องต้นของภาพ เคลื่อนไหวเชิงทดลองนั้นมักจะถูกระบุ นิยาม ความหมาย เอาไว้ว่า ภาพเคลื่อนไหวเชิงทดลองจะไม่มีการ นําเสนอความ สัมพันธ์ของเนื้อหา (Non-Fiction) และไม่นําเสนอกระบวนการการเล่าเรื่อง (Non-Narrative) แต่ถ้าหากภาพเคลื่อนไหวเชิง ทดลองเริ่มต้นที่จะตั้งคําถามว่า จะเป็นไปได็หรือไม่ที่ภาพเคลื่อนไหวเชิงทดลองนั้นสามารถมีทั้งการนําเสนอความสัมพันธ์ของ เนื้อหา และ การนําเสนอกระบวนการการเล่าเรื่อง เพียงแค่ลองเริ่มต้นอธิบายว่าความสัมพันธ์ของเนื้อหานั้นเกิดขึ้นจาก กระบวนการทางความคิด (Conceptual) ไม่ใช้เกิดจากตัวเนื้อหาโดยตรง เสมือนกับการเริ่มต้นอธิบายเรื่องของแสงจากความ มืดสนิท อธิบายเรื่องของดนตรีว่าเกิดขึ้นจากเสียงรบกวน (Noise) หรือแม้แต่อธิบายว่า เมื่อว่างจึงมี ส่วนในเรื่องของ กระบวนการการเล่าเรื่อง สิ่งต่อไปก็คือการลองทําให้กระบวนการเล่าเรื่องนั้นแปรผกผันกับประสบการณ์ที่เคยได้รับรู้ นั้น หมายความว่าประสบการณ์นั้นๆต้องไม่อยู่ในเงื่อนไขหรือข้อกําหนดใดๆที่สังคมหรือตัวควบคุมได้กําหนดเอาไว้ ซึ่งแน่นอนว่า ในท้ายที่สุดจะต้องมีความสัมพันธที่ทั้งเชื่อมต่อและไม่เชื่อมต่อกับ ปรากฏการณ์ที่ว่าด้วยเรื่องของพื้นที่ (Spatial) และ เวลา สัมพัธ (Temporal) ดังนั้นในกระบวนการการทดลอง แม้ว่าการนําเสนอจะยังคงรูปแบบเดิมไว้และปล่อยให้เวลาทําให้ ประสบการณ์การรับรู้นั้นผลิตความหลากหลายมากขึ้น หากการทดลองได้ลองย้ายเปลี่ยนพื้นที่คําถามของการทดลองไปยัง พื้นที่แห่งใหม่ ก็อาจจะเป็นไปได้ว่าประเด็นคําถามเดิมอาจจะยังปรากฏขึ้น และนําเสนอการวิพากษ์ วิจารณ์ ได้อย่างรุนแรง หรือในอีกทางหนึ่งคือเกิดประเด็นคําถามใหม่ ด้วยเนื่องจากเหตุปัจจัยที่มาจากองค์ประกอบของพื้นที่นั้นๆ ไปจนถึงขั้นที่ว่าไม่ เกิดคําถาม หรือ การวิพากษ์ วิจารณ์ใดๆ ขึ้นมาเลย แต่นั่นก็ไม่ได้หมายความว่าการทดลองนั้นๆ ล้มเหลว

An illegal Rave, taking place in front of my studio, which is facing a wasteland at the spree in Berlin, is disturbed by me. By two huge loudspeakers Arnold Schoenberg's Synfony no.1 is trying to overtone the monotone party sound. The video is a resulting documentation - partly manipulated by a change of duration. The repetitive and posing movements of the dancers are thus transformed into a sublime ballet.
The subversive character of the event (occupying a public space without permission) is traversed by a classical piece of music which - performed in 1913 in Vienna - was considered as scandalous.

Susanne Schuda takes Found Footage from the Internet and photos of herself, working them up into digital collages which are transformed into three-dimensional pictorial objects. The cave as a reference to the Stone Age becomes a symbol of the fundamental organization between the sexes and the environment. Today, any biological primeval program has to compete with the notion of self-definition in a progressive Antropozän and with collective consumption as a safeguard for growth.

What all experience the same is living in a period of time. Time represents an intangible thing as a space. Various events happen in order, but this does not mean that those times and events are combined together. While some people always encounter life alteration similar to the swing condition of an object, their perception of joy or sorrow or neutral takes place at any one moment and any one dimension in space. One circumstance at one time affects the other one at another dimension, and turn back to the same time. We all have a global time outside in concert. We all have time measurable and not measurable that refers to internal time. The internal time constantly walks at a reverse rate from external time. Some situation aiming to travel of internal time in a short movement takes much external time while many understanding with a long time of learning process takes a short period of time at the appropriate timing step. The balance of the perception of internal and external time is complex to discover consistent and stable time when such insights frequently do not go along with practical steps.
